RSA Gets Gold in Pan-Am Games Insurance Race

The Pan American and Parapan American Games are high profile sporting events represented by 40 countries from the Americas. Held every four years, in the year before the Olympics, the next event takes place in Toronto in 2015.

The Global Specialty Lines (GSL) team at RSA were asked to prepare a proposal for the Property, EBI, Casualty, D&O, Crime and Auto elements of this exciting event.

The team headed up by Art Ferland, Key Account Manager worked closely and cross-functionally to put together a comprehensive and professional proposal for Marsh and PanAm.  Art was determined to win this RFP  and therefore assembled team members Carmen D’Intino – Senior Auto Underwriter, Marie Peers – Casualty Trading Underwriter, Alex Walker – Claims Director and Allison Martin – Marketing Manager to work together to ensure that the technical expertise, product coverage and flexible terms that make up the GSL proposition were well communicated.

RSA, being a leading Global carrier, is well versed in writing these large multi-national risks. Insuring both the 2012 Olympics in London and the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, RSA has the capacity and technical expertise to make the event a tremendous success.

We are proud to announce being chosen to insure the Property and Auto elements for the 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games.

Art commented proudly, “the collaborative approach we took in bringing together our seasoned Underwriting specialists along with our Marketing expertise resulted in the development of a winning proposition for our Broker and their client.”
